Our Partners
We partner with premier organizations whose visions are aligned with ours in order to leverage our mutual efforts, expand the scope of our combined activities and thereby create the force multipliers that are vital to scaling to achieve impact. Our close partners include:
Project Lead The Way provides transformative learning experiences for K-12 students and teachers across the U.S. We create an engaging, hands-on classroom environment and empower students to develop in-demand knowledge and skills they need to thrive. We also provide teachers with the training, resources, and support they need to engage students in real-world learning. Mentored Pathways collaborates with PLTW in Biomed classes to help providing lasting impact to these students.
The Million Women Mentors® (MWM) movement supports the engagement of millions of Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) mentors (male and female) to increase the interest and confidence of girls and women to persist and succeed in STEM programs and careers by 2020. MWM is the movement that aims to change the face of women and girls, their career choices and advancement. Engaged nationally we have over 43 states with pledges and steering committees; 60 leading corporations/sponsors and 60 partners/non-profits. We have global, veterans, entrepreneurship committees that are expanding the movement. It is about scaling up and ensuring that women and girls are encouraged and supported to get in and stay in STEM careers.
STEMconnector® works closely with corporations and other organizations to provide them with a set of tools and resources that support their corporate development, corporate structure and smart STEM investments.
STEMconnector also has other initiatives and programs which help connect employers with job seekers, and higher education institutions in order to help promote diversity in the STEM fields. These initiatives range from publications, to newsletters, to Town Halls and other events to help educate the world on the issues in STEM and the workforce.
The STEM Innovation Task Force is a thought leadership and action council comprised of more than 30 private sector and education leaders focused on collaborative approaches to address the STEM talent shortfall gap. The SITF views the STEM challenge through the lens of the private sector and develops solutions that prepare the next-generation workforce with necessary capabilities for the jobs of tomorrow.
The National Mentoring Partnership is the unifying champion for expanding quality youth mentoring relationships in the United States. For more than 25 years, Menor has served the mentoring field by providing a public voice; developing and delivering resources to mentoring programs nationwide; and promoting quality for mentoring through evidence-based standards, innovative research and essential tools. Mentor has developed and supports a national network of Affiliates that provide regional, state and local leadership and infrastructure necessary to support the expansion of quality mentoring relationships. Together, we engage with the private, public and nonprofit sectors to ensure that all youth have the support they need through mentoring relationships to succeed at home, school and, ultimately, work.
